Get to know the Be Great Basketball Leadership Team

About Us

Be Great Basketball is a family-owned youth organization that focuses on skill and personal development. Members of our program train consistently for months, are provided a nutrition plan, at home workouts and the opportunity to join a team to compete at a high level. 

 

The purpose of Be Great Basketball is to provide a safe, wholesome and competitive athletic environment, while inspiring youth to set goals for academic success supported by athletic potential.

Coach Howard

Coach Howard is a former Division 1 Basketball Player and Professional Athlete. She graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2016 and went on to play Professional Basketball in Europe and Australia. After years of playing, Coach Howard began coaching Collegiate Basketball, having stops at Eastern Oklahoma State College, Northwest Florida State College and Panola College. 

Coach Howard has helped send over 20 student athletes to Division 1 schools throughout her coaching career. She started Be Great Basketball in 2021 and is always looking for committed athletes who want to improve.

Coach Jevan

Coach Jevan has been with Be Great for 2 years, coaching the boys Middle School and High School Aau teams. He also assist with the Player Development Program. His commitment  to our program has been unmatched and his players show a significant level of improvement working with him. Prior to coaching, he played D1 Basketball at Coastal Carolina and brings a significant amount of experience to our program.

Coach Natalie

Coach Natalie Howard brings so much energy and excitement to our program! She played in both the NCAA and NAIA.

 

Her coaching days started as a volunteer at the YMCA and she has been coaching boys and girls high school basketball for over 25 years! Coach Howard runs the Little Dribblers Program for kids ages 5-7 and coaches the Girls Basketball Summer Teams.
